BLOOMINGTON, Ill. —Illinois Farm Bureau (IFB) ACTIVATOR today announced Representative C.D. DAVIDSMEYER (R- Jacksonville), has been endorsed by the local Illinois Farm Bureau ACTIVATOR trustee committee for the 100th State Representative District Primary election.

Local trustee members voted to endorse Representative Davidsmeyer because he is a strong voice for the agricultural community in the State of Illinois and a dedicated leader in his district.

“C.D. Davidsmeyer has been a trusted supporter of agriculture in Springfield since becoming a representative. He has tirelessly fought for the farmers and citizens of his district,” said Kevin Semlow, Director of State Legislation for the Illinois Farm Bureau. “Our members in the 100th District look forward to helping re-elect C.D. Davidsmeyer as their state representative,” Semlow added.

The endorsement by IFB ACTIVATOR proves that Davidsmeyer comprehends the benefits of agriculture, and that those benefits extend far beyond the vital function of feeding Illinois, the nation, and the world.

ACTIVATOR, Illinois Farm Bureau’s Political Involvement Fund, is a voluntary, non-profit, segregated fund promoting the economic and social well-being of farmers which seeks to help elect pro-farm candidates no matter their party affiliation. ACTIVATOR trustees are local Farm Bureau leaders representing each county in the Illinois General Assembly Legislative District.
